Mini Rosey Birthday

Made this mini card for a colleague whose birthday is on next Tuesday. I made a 3"x3" mini card because I am going to insert the card into a transparent gift pouch together with the gift as I did previously. I am so fond of 3"x3" mini card now especially making the envelope using Martha Stewart Scoring Board.

Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #126

I adopt the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #126 as shown above. The color scheme of this card is inspired by the Created With Love Challenges CWLC 49 - Birthday, Red and Yellow.

On a white card stock, three (3) roses are stamped and colored using Copic markers. Then, the three (3) colored roses trimmed so that they can be layered upon each to create some dimension using pop dots. Two (2) leaves are tucked behind the rose as decoration as shown in the sketch. It is then attached onto a yellow card base.

Close-up : Sentiment

The sentiment is stamped on a red strip and fishtailed. It is attached onto the yellow card base as shown in the sketch.

Close-up : White gems

The card is finished off with some white gems nearby the rose as shown in the sketch. A pearl is added to the front of the sentiment as well.
